Beautiful Photo of Green Truck (and how it came to be)

If you like the truck picture you can purchase it here at my Etsy shop for just $6.

I just happened to take this picture when I was actually out looking for another one. We were visiting family in New York, and it snowed overnight. I knew we had passed a pumpkin field at some point, and I needed to get a snowy picture of it. My husband knew the area, since he grew up there,  and we made our way to the barn as seen below.

Here I was in freezing temperatures, 1000 miles from home, cloth shoes that were now wet, new gloves (I had just bought because I didn’t have any), and my camera.  My husband stayed in the warm car as I rolled up my jeans so they wouldn’t get wet, and trudged out there.

I don’t even like that picture of the pumpkins as much as I thought I would. On walking back, I spotted the rusted, green truck. The sun wasn’t in the best spot for this picture, and there was a sign naming the farm just to the right, along with a bale of hay.  I snapped a couple of shots with all of the extra in the frame, and then I zoomed on this shot.  That’s how this shot came to be.

I don’t own photoshop, nor do I know how to make a photo look “professional”. I LOVE minimal photoshopping because it really showcases the object in its true form.
